Dear Parents and Students: Due to a scheduling conflict the 9th grade orientation will be moved from Thursday, April 7, 2016, to Thursday, April 21, 2016. We will hold a 9th grade High School Orientation for all present 8th graders and their parents. This important meeting will take place in the Media Center at 7:00 PM. At that time, we will emphasize the importance of the four years of high school beginning with the very first day. An overview of the curriculum will be presented and the importance of a four year plan will be emphasized. Teachers, guidance counselors and administrators will fully explain what high school is all about and stress the need for students to be involved in every aspect of their program during the next four years. After the presentation, we will be available to answer your questions and address your concerns. We urge you to mark your calendars and make every effort to attend this very important informational meeting. Entering high school is a major step for every child.
