MPHS Daily Bulletin

As per the Board of Education Policy No. 5533, vaping and electronic cigarettes are prohibited in school. Students found in possession of any device will be appropriately remediated. Please refer to pages 43 and 44 in the student handbook for more information.


Student Representative  to the Board of Education


Qualifications:    1.  Be a member of the MPHS student body for at least two years.

                              2.  Be in good standing with grades, attendance and discipline.


If you are interested in and willing to serve as a student rep to the Board of Education, please submit an essay describing why you feel you would be the best pupil for the position.  These essays must be brought to the Main Office no later than Friday, January 18th.


All essays will be reviewed by the Selection Committee comprised of the Principal, Assistant Principals, Director of Special Services and a teacher.  Recommendations will be made by the committee to the Superintendent of Schools.


The student representative to the Board will be a valuable source for improving the operation of the district.  This representative will gain experience in the governing process and have opportunities to contribute to the future direction of our district.


This is a wonderful opportunity for you to be an involved member of the student body.  I encourage all of you to give careful consideration to this opportunity.



  1. Chromebooks are not allowed to charge in the Media Center unless you are present with them.

  1. Seniors:The PTA Scholarship is available in Room 43 or the school website.The eligibility requirement is your parents must be a member of the PTA for four years.Any questions, see Ms. Stewart.
