On Saturday, September 20th, the Midland Park girls volleyball team turned in a championship performance at the Leonia Volleyball Tournament.
After advancing out of pool play, the Panthers carried their strong momentum into the knockout rounds. In the semifinals, they defeated Hackensack with poise and energy, setting the stage for a championship matchup against Saddle Brook. Midland Park rose to the occasion once again, controlling the final and securing the tournament title.
The Panthers are now 8-2 on the season and currently tied for first place in the division.
The Leonia Tournament championship was a statement win for a program that has shown depth, balance, and determination. With confidence high and a strong record to back it up, the Panthers will look to carry their success into the weeks ahead.
