From the volleyball court to the soccer field, these Panthers have demonstrated skill, leadership, and a relentless work ethic that reflects the strength of Midland Park athletics.
Ava Romano – Girls Volleyball (Sophomore)
Featured in “New Jersey’s Top Girls Volleyball Players: Best Group 1 Setters,” sophomore setter Ava Romano has emerged as one of the top playmakers in New Jersey. After gaining valuable varsity experience as a freshman, Ava has become the leader of Midland Park’s offense this season, recording 454 assists, 114 digs, and 56 aces through October 29. Her vision and consistency have placed her among the top setters in Group 1.

Abigail Kuhnel – Girls Volleyball (Junior)
Junior libero Abigail Kuhnel was recognized in “New Jersey’s Top Girls Volleyball Players: Best Group 1 Libero/Defensive Specialists.” A defensive anchor for the Panthers, she’s closing in on 400 career digs, with 259 this season, including an impressive 28-dig effort in a win over Cliffside Park. Abigail’s leadership and consistency in the back row have been essential to the team’s success.

Alexis Williamson – Girls Soccer (Senior)
Senior right back Alexis Williamson was featured in “Underrated Girls Soccer Players to Watch in the 2025 Group 1 Playoffs.” A key part of Midland Park’s defensive unit, Alexis has provided excellent play at right back, helping the Panthers limit opponents’ scoring chances throughout the season. Her patience, positioning, and technical play have been vital in the team’s transition game, while her long throw-ins add another offensive threat to the lineup.
Eva Hagan – Girls Soccer (Sophomore)
Sophomore midfielder Eva Hagan was highlighted in “Offensive MVPs, Players of the Week in All 15 Girls Soccer Conferences, Oct. 27.” Hagan has been a driving force in Midland Park’s incredible turnaround season. After winning just seven games last year, the Panthers are now 20-2, led by Eva’s dynamic offensive play. She notched two goals and three assists against Manchester Regional and added two more goals versus Dumont in back-to-back 6–0 victories. Hagan has totaled 24 goals and 16 assists this season, showcasing her versatility and leadership in the midfield.
