The Midland Park Athletic Department is proud to recognize junior Alexis Williamson, who was recently included in Sports Illustrated’s National Girls Athlete of the Week poll for the week of December 29, 2025. The poll highlights notable high school performances from across the country, and Alexis was featured following a strong outing earlier this season.
Sports Illustrated spotlighted her 38-point performance in Midland Park’s 61–45 victory over Pascack Hills, a game in which she played a key role in leading the Panthers to the win. Earlier this week, Alexis added another significant accomplishment to her career by scoring her 1,000th point. With this milestone, she joins the elite sorority of Midland Park girls basketball players who have reached the 1,000-point mark.
Alexis’s inclusion in the national poll and her entry into the 1,000-point club reflect the time, commitment, and consistency she has shown throughout her career. These moments are a point of pride for her teammates, coaches, and the entire Midland Park community.
