Midland Park senior Seth Sverdlov is putting together another exceptional fencing season, highlighted by major postseason success and continued dominance at the county level. Sverdlov earned a strong finish at the State Tournament Qualifier on January 18, securing his position among the state’s elite competitors.

He followed that performance with a championship showing at the Bergen County Fencing Championships on Sunday, February 1 at Indian Hills High School, capturing the county title for the second consecutive year. Sverdlov’s technical precision, composure, and competitive mindset have consistently placed him among the top fencers in Bergen County and beyond.

Sverdlov will next compete at the NJSIAA State Championships on March 7 at Hunterdon Central High School, where he looks to build on last year’s runner up finish. The Midland Park community congratulates Seth on an outstanding season so far and wishes him the best of luck as he prepares for another deep run on the state stage.
