Midland Park softball is off to a tremendous start this spring, and both the team and one of its top players are being recognized across North Jersey.
The Panthers have been nominated for North Jersey Team of the Week after opening the season 3-0 in dominant fashion. Midland Park has yet to allow a run, outscoring opponents 35-0. It has been a complete team effort with strong pitching, solid defense, and consistent production at the plate.

Sophomore catcher Zoe Palomino is also up for North Jersey Softball Player of the Week. Palomino has been outstanding to start the season, hitting .556 with three doubles, a triple, and seven runs scored. She has added six stolen bases and has caught every inning behind the plate, playing a major role in the team’s early success.
