Framework for the Future

Dear Midland Park Parent Community,

We are thrilled to officially share with you our Framework for the Future, a strategic roadmap developed during the 2025–2026 school year designed to guide the Midland Park Public Schools toward continued excellence.

The creation of this framework was made possible through the incredible dedication and active participation of our entire school community. We extend our deepest thanks to the parents, students, staff, and borough residents who attended our work sessions, responded to surveys, and shared their voices throughout this process. Your honest feedback regarding our district's successes, hopes, and concerns has been absolutely instrumental in shaping this vision. This document is a direct reflection of your shared perspectives.

The Framework for the Future is deeply interconnected with the Midland Park Mindset, which emphasizes hard work, acting with integrity, innovation, teamwork, and self-reflection. Our guiding principles focus on balancing the preservation of what already makes Midland Park so special with critical, forward-thinking shifts that prepare our students for a rapidly changing world.

Please note that the Framework for the Future is designed to be a living, dynamic document. The publication of this framework is not the conclusion of our work, but rather the beginning of an exciting new chapter. Moving forward, the district will update this framework annually to ensure we remain agile and responsive to our students' emerging needs.

Each year, school-specific goals and actionable items aligned with the Framework will be established to continuously measure, refine, and improve the educational experience for our students. These school-specific goals will be integrated directly into this foundational document and formally shared at an upcoming Board of Education meeting.

Thank you once again for your partnership, your insights, and your unwavering commitment to building a future that empowers every Midland Park student to create the life they desire.

Sincerely,

Kevin Ulmer

Superintendent of Schools
