Joseph Taub Scholar Athlete Award
Deadline: February 5, 2021
The
Joseph Taub Scholar Athlete Award is open to all student-athletes in
their senior year who demonstrate strong academic ability and exemplary
leadership skills in
sports, school, and within their community. One
male and one female athlete, will each receive a $3,600 college
scholarship! Second place winners will receive a $900 scholarship and
third place winners
receive a $540 college scholarship. In the event COVID-19 interfered with participation in a sport or activity, an explanation can be provided on the
application.
Membership
at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is not required to enter or win.
Applicants must be a resident of Bergen County, NJ. Awards will be
presented at the 4th
Annual Sports Night of Champions, a community-wide event to support scholarships at the JCC.
The scholarship awards are made possible by The Joseph and Arlene Taub Foundation in memory of Joseph Taub z"l.
